What You’ll Be Doing

Volunteers & Interns may assist with:

• Assisting in guest check-ins, check-outs, and overall experience
• Setting up and maintaining glamping accommodations
• Organising eco-friendly activities, farm-to-table dining, and cultural events
• Supporting guest inquiries and enhancing their stay with personalised service
• Assisting with housekeeping and ensuring a high standard of eco-friendly hospitality
• Assisting with hospitality & guest experiences (glamping setup, guest engagement)
• Marketing & community outreach (social media, event planning, content creation)
• Organising sustainable adventure activities & cultural workshops with a focus on artisanal products, preservation of food sources and seed-to-harvest principles

Relevant skills for the area of expertise

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A customer-focused mindset with a warm, welcoming attitude
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Basic organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or event planning
• Familiarity with eco-tourism or sustainable hospitality principles
• Basic knowledge of additional languages (Afrikaans, Zulu, or German beneficial)
