Programme Highlights

What You’ll Be Doing

Volunteers & Interns may assist with:

• Building & maintaining eco-friendly infrastructure (solar setups, water systems, etc.)
• Photography & videography (DSLR, drone, mobile)
• Photo & video editing (Openshot, Premiere, Adobe Photoshop)
• Blogging & content writing (storytelling, SEO, travel/lifestyle topics)
• Graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
• Branding & marketing strategies
• Website updates & blog management (Odoo 18)
• Illustration & digital art
• Capturing high-quality photos and videos of farm life and guest experiences
• Creating social media content, blog articles, and promotional materials
• Assisting in digital marketing strategies for sustainability-focused tourism
• Documenting volunteer activities, workshops, and nature-based projects
• Helping to develop branding materials, marketing campaigns, merchandise and product preparation
• Music, sound design & podcasting
• Fundraising & crowdfunding campaigns
• Assisting with hospitality & guest experiences (glamping setup, guest engagement)
• Marketing & community outreach (social media, event planning, content creation)
• Organising sustainable adventure activities & cultural workshops

Relevant skills for the area of expertise

• Hands-on experience in content creation, storytelling, and digital marketing
• Collaboration with a passionate team in a picturesque, off-grid setting
• Opportunity to build a portfolio in photography, videography, and writing
• Training in social media management and eco-tourism branding
• Monitoring local wildlife and maintaining biodiversity reports
• Educating visitors and volunteers about conservation practices

What's Included?

• Accommodation in standard tents (upgrades available for a fee)
• Three farm-to-table meals per day

• Travel means and costs to/from Utrecht are excluded, but for international participants a shuttle service can be arranged on request
